Incredible eggs

Brady got to experience his first Easter egg hunt last weekend.  He loves playing hide-and-seek right now, so we explained that it was like hide-and-seek, but you seek the eggs.  So he kept saying "I want seek eggs" all morning, haha.  It was pretty darn cold, but we all had a good time.  We rounded out the weekend by playing in an ambulance and decorating Easter eggs.  All in all a very Brady weekend!

10 weeks old and ready for spring!

Nathan had his two month pediatrician check up last week.  He is perfect- really, the doctor's words, not mine!  He weighed 14 lbs 1 oz (90-95th percentile), was 25" long (98th+ percentile), and his head is 16 1/4" (95-98th percentile).  The doctor believes he has acid reflux, which would explain a lot of his fussiness.  We're trying a couple things to help, but so far we have not had any luck.

We are finally getting into a half-way decent morning routine.  Or at least we were until Brady decided this would be a great time to start waking at 5am (or earlier)!  I now drive him to preschool, which buys us another 30 minutes in the morning.  Those are 30 very valuable minutes when I'm trying to get us all fed and ready!  And even though Brady loves the school bus, he seems to think it's pretty fun to ride to school in "Mommy's New Van."  He still gets to ride the bus home in the afternoons, so all is not lost.

Brady's vocabulary is really taking off.  He uses new words daily that I had no idea he knew.  Today at lunch he held a cracker up to his eye and said "telescope."  He's always cracking us up with the things that come out of his mouth.  His articulation isn't great, but he has definitely come a LONG way since school began.

Nathan is doing pretty well aside from the reflux.  His favorite thing is when you talk to him- he'll smile and coo back at you.  A little attention goes a long way with him!  I'm really thankful for the mornings when Brady is in preschool so Nathan and I can spend some quality time together.  I know how quickly they grow!

We went play set shopping last weekend. Brady might have liked the basketball hoops even more than the swing sets!
