Apple Picking

Brady has been peeing on the potty (HOORAY!) so we got him a fish as a special reward. He named her (him) Dory, from Finding Nemo.

Nathan's cute little legs are constantly covered in bruises and bug bites.

It's apple-picking time at the farm, so the boys and I headed out for a quick afternoon trip.

While we waited on the wagon to pick us up, we saw this cute bunny.

Brady tried to pet it,

while Nathan said "get me the heck away from this thing!"

The apple trees were smaller than ones we've seen at other orchards, so they were easy for both boys to pick from.

And they were fast, so we picked way more apples than I wanted to!

First day of school

Remember that corn from Nana's garden? Nathan was a big fan.

We had a stretch of rainy days this week, so I made a race track.

A race track with an end zone. OK, so I don't really know what race tracks look like.

We did a little garage organizing over Labor Day weekend. Brady and Daddy hung some new shelves.

Brady and Daddy set up the tent in the backyard for Brady's first camping adventure. Looks like they've got a stowaway.

Brady had so much fun, but unfortunately he couldn't relax enough to fall asleep (those darn crickets). They came back inside around 10:30. But Brady wanted to try again the next night, so overall it was a good first attempt!

The kids and I took a little road trip to WV on one of our last weekends of summer.  The boys had a fun time playing in Nana and Pop Pop's garden.  I have a feeling I have at least one future farmer on my hands!

Back home we took a little hike and checked out some old grainery and stable ruins

And finally, Brady has gotten the hang of pedaling!
