Procrastinating

Our flight leaves for WI tomorrow morning at 7:45, so naturally I am updating the blog instead of packing.  I'll keep it short and sweet since it's creeping past my bedtime... enjoy the pictures!

Having a ball

Pete, Mark, Brady, and I just returned from a great weekend visit to WV.  Brady had a blast as usual with all the grandparents, aunts and uncles.  On Friday we had a nice dinner with Dad, Lyla, Dustin, Daniel, Mark, Casey, Mammaw, Aunt Mary Gay, and Uncle Frankie.  They brought over my favorite Italian food, and I'm sorry to say that Brady was not impressed with it.  We'll keep trying!

Saturday we visited Mammaw in her new house.  She's settled in now and it looks great!  Brady had fun exploring the place and playing with Mammaw.  After Brady's afternoon nap we went to Mom's house for some fun with Mom, Steve, and Casey.  We got lucky when Aunt Nancy Rae and Uncle Norman stopped by as well!  For what it's worth, Brady was slightly more interested in the pepperoni rolls for dinner from one of my other favorite restaurants.

On Sunday we had a yummy breakfast at Dad & Lyla's house and spent some time playing before we hit the road.  Brady was nice and exhausted when we got home!

"Road trip? Awesome!"

Hello, friend

Fall fun

I've been home for almost two weeks now, and it has been very easy to slip back into our old routines.  Brady is doing great, so we are all a little happier around here.  We've had a lot of errands to run and housework to catch up on, but we've had plenty of fun too.  The crazy rainy stretch we've had seems to be over (at least for a few days), so we've been getting outside as much as possible.

Here comes trouble!

Beautiful day for a hike (I use that term very loosely- not quite the hikes of our old days)!

Of course we've been on the swings a zillion times!

"Mommy, you're in my way- I can't see the cars!"

Ready to slide

You didn't think it was all fun and games, did you?  Time to teach Brady to fold!
