Santa sightings

We had a jolly weekend with the munchkin, with not one but two Santa sightings!

On Saturday morning we went to the town's Christmas Parade.  We got there a little too early (I guess it's not like the parade at the Magic Kingdom- turns out you don't need to stake out your spot an hour in advance), so we were off to a rocky start.  Fortunately many people walked by with their dogs, and Brady pointed and panted with each one.  Once the parade got started, Brady was rocking and rolling though.  His favorite parts (in order) were the balloons, dogs, horses, drums, and motorcycles.  And of course all of the people-watching.  He loved it!  And that made it a blast for us, too.

That evening we had another festive treat.  Santa and a few friends came down our street on a firetruck!  It was very cool to see.  It was past Brady's bedtime, so he had to miss it this year, but I'm sure Brady will love it once he's a little older.

Brady's first Christmas cookie. He was not impressed, but that just means more for me!

Bundled up and ready for the parade.

Here it comes...

Santa rides in style

I had to sneak in at nap time to get a shot of Brady with his beloved cow.

Here comes Santa Claus
