Brady sets sail

We just got back from our vacation with Dad, Lyla, and Casey- a wonderful four-night cruise to the Bahamas on the Disney Dream.  Brady did fantastic- much better than we imagined he would.  He was (slightly) flexible with his naps/bedtime, he was well entertained, and he even ate much much better than he does at home.  Well, I suppose we all did!

A good time was had by all.  We sure hope we can do it again someday!

Digging the view at the airport (his first time flying since his love for planes began)

Watching the forklifts haul our luggage onto the ship

Embarkation!

It didn't take long for our first character encounter.  Hello Goofy!
Checking out the cranes in Port Canaveral

Sailing away!

Dancing at the deck party

These crayons let us have a lovely dinner every night!

Dad with Ronald, our server for the cruise
Ronald made Brady a bunny out of a napkin that was HILARIOUS!

Oh no, Captain Hook!

Sunrise in the Bahamas

Hey, I think the pool is this way!

Nassau

Atlantis

Brady LOVED the aquarium at Atlantis.  Highlight of his trip!

We even squeezed in a little beach time while we were there.

Rear-view of the Dream.  Our rooms were the deck right above the flag.

Snack time on the balcony

Another dinner with those wildly entertaining crayons

Another beautiful sunrise, made possible by my little early riser
What, you didn't wake up this early on all your other cruises?

Casey poses with Castaway Cay, Disney's private island

Brady enjoyed the sand,
the ocean,

and especially the splash park!

Chip 'n Dale were a big hit as well

The adults only beach was beautiful (and peaceful), thanks to Pete for taking today's nap time!

Brady even has this car at home, so cool!

Watching a little b-ball

Bread basket? No. It's got wheels. It's definitely a car.

A little dancing before bed time

Aye Aye Captain Mickey!
