3 months old

Nathan is three months old today, how the heck did that happen?  It's really been a blur.  Nathan weighed 15.5 lbs this morning, so he's doing a great job growing!  He's been working hard at trying to control his arms.  He tries to grab at toys that dangle in front of him, or a face if you're brave enough to have his sharp little fingernails come at you.  He is starting to laugh now too, but he really makes you work for it.

He still is not a good sleeper during the day, and requires movement to nap.  But he's sleeping in his swing now, so our arms get a break!  I'm hesitant to even put this in writing, but the really good news is that he's pretty consistently sleeping through the night.  We paid our dues with Brady, who enjoyed our middle of the night company until he was 11 months old.  Hopefully this is the real deal!

Brady eats his first cookie! With any luck he'll actually try some birthday cake this year.

Whoa, that octopus is kind of freaky

Finally, warmer weather!

This is what happens when you tell a two year old to put the flowers in the water.  He said "they're ready to swim!"

Someone is still a little jealous...

Happy Easter Egg!

I'm not sure if it was all the egg coloring or the egg hunts that did it, but whenever you'd tell Brady "Happy Easter" he would respond with "Happy Easter Egg!"  And if he heard you saying "Happy Easter" he would correct you by adding the "egg" on the end, haha.

We celebrated Nathan's first Easter with another first- our first road trip as a family of four.  We took Mommy's New Van to WV for the weekend, and I'll admit, it was the nicest drive in we've ever had.  Well, it was the nicest drive since having kids!

Today Brady went back to school, and I'm not sure who was happier- Brady or Mommy (or Nathan)!  We're all glad to get back to our normal routines.  And I believe next week we are supposed to have actual Spring-like weather, so you might even get a picture or two of Mommy braving the park with both boys.

Nana made this cute bunny hat for Brady when he was 11 months old.  And yes, it fits Nathan's adorable fat head at 2 months!

Brady had lots of entertainers this weekend- he loved Taylor and Chase!

And who wouldn't love a bounce house? Oh my this child is spoiled.

Now Brady's really got the hang of egg coloring
