We have big news- we accepted an offer on our townhouse! It was a whirlwind... our house was listed on Friday evening and we had several showings on Saturday and Sunday. It was a pretty big disruption to Brady's schedule, so Brady and I decided to go to WV and stay with my Dad, Lyla, Dustin, and Daniel (in their new house!) since Pete had to travel to AL this week anyway. On Tuesday we got word from our realtor that an offer was coming in on our house, and possibly one more. The first offer was low, but the second was good. Honestly we would have accepted that one as is, but out of left field a third offer came in that night! Our realtor reached out to everyone to see if they wanted to sharpen their offers since there were three. The final two increased their offers, and the last one included an escalation clause to beat the highest offer by $1000. Sold! If all goes well, we'll settle on June 30th. So we've got approximately 45 days to figure out what our next move is. Stay tuned!
Though briefer than planned, our WV visit was a fun one! Brady enjoyed seeing everyone, and he thought Grandma and Grandpa's house was awesome! I think his favorite parts were Dustin's guitar playing and Daniel's giant bean bag chair. He was enthralled by the first and completely overtaken with excitement by the second. We're looking forward to visiting again when the circumstances aren't so crazy!
