We made it to the pumpkin patch last weekend like I had been hoping for, and it was everything I had hoped it wouldn't be! Brady is usually super-excited to go to the farm, and he has been all about the "pumpkin pouches" this year, so I was expecting a fun-filled time. It all started smoothly enough, but after the wagon ride to the field we fell apart. Brady didn't like the unevenness of the ground, so he had some trouble walking through the vines and then he started getting frustrated. He wanted a green pumpkin, but couldn't carry one and walk very well. And my main objective was to get cute pictures of the boys, and if there was time get a couple good pumpkins too! Pete thinks I took too much time with the pictures (maybe), but the ground was absolutely mesmerizing to Nathan and he would not look up for anything! And of course you know Brady hates having his picture taken, so anything of him not screaming is a win.
Things completely fell apart on the way back to the wagon. Brady went boneless, kicking and screaming. So Pete carried him over his shoulder, I carried Nathan, and with the help of the poor farmer driving the wagon we also got our two pumpkins. Whew. Can't wait to go cut down our Christmas tree.

| I threw this one in just so you know Nathan isn't always happy. |

| We got a new mode of transportation this week, it's a blast! |

| Speaking of transportation, |
 |
| Time to lean in and get serious |
 |
| Who ya gonna call? |

| Thankfully we snapped a few pictures before the wagon ride while we were all still happy |

| What started out as a puffy paint ghost... |
 |
| ...became a boat. A Halloween boat. |

| Today we took our spiffy new wagon to the playground |
 |
| That was one fast slide! |
 |
| Hmmm, what could possibly go wrong here? |
