Changing seasons and Manual mode

It's been an odd March so far weather-wise.  Today it's 70, Thursday it'll be 30.  So you'll see everything from our bathing suits to snow boots in this set of pictures!

Nathan and I volunteered in Brady's classroom

Some welcome warm weather inspired us to head to the pool.  Brady still loves to swim, so he decided that this is where he wants to have his birthday party.

Blurry cell phone pic, but I think you get the idea of how much fun he had!

Aaannddd, more snow

This week in my photography class we started shooting in full manual mode, meaning that we control the aperture, shutter speed, and ISO.  Our assignment was to photograph a special treat for ourselves- we are all busy moms, after all.  And it was a nice perk to have stationary subjects while fumbling with the settings on my camera.

Brady did this (unprompted) in the driveway with chalk. It's the first time he's written his name!

Time to graduate to those moving targets

Brady is trying to give the ball to the neighbor's cat. So cute.

They were seriously so adorable. I'm looking up rescue dogs as we speak.

He totally reminds me of something...

Hello, Grandma? Any chance you can get Mom and Dad to stop pushing the veggies?

Love love love these boys.
