As the days are getting cooler, we are trying to squeeze in as much outside time as we can before winter comes and we are stuck indoors. The boys and I took a couple of field trips to soak in the fall air!
First was a local park for some hiking and a "scavenger hunt," as Brady likes to play.

Brady's preschool took a field trip to the farm for some pumpkin picking and apple tasting. We all tagged along and made a day of it.
The girl in the background of the next picture is Brady's little girlfriend. He talks about her
all the time. Every day when I ask him what his favorite part of school was, he always says playing with her. I met her mom for the first time at the farm, and she said that the feeling is mutual. She has learned to say two words since starting preschool this year, "bus" and, wait for it... "Brady." :)

After the tour was over, Brady and I stayed to have a picnic and choose our pumpkin. It's always fun to get some Mommy and Brady alone time.
