Well, it wasn't exactly twelve days, but we did manage to stretch out our Christmas celebrations for at least a solid four! Pete was able to take a week off of work, and we enjoyed every minute of having him home.
| In between batches of cookies and fudge, Brady and I made some homemade play dough (and about one second after this shot, Nathan totally ate it) |
| They boys opened one gift on Christmas Eve- The Muppet Christmas Carol and hot chocolate |
| Snuggled up and ready |
| Cooling the hot chocolate to a reasonable Brady temperature |
| Baby's first Christmas! |
| Don't you wish you could be this happy too? |
| Quality control |
| All ready for Santa |
| Christmas morning! |
| Nathan thought the play food was quite realistic. Good job, Santa. |
| It was a relatively quiet morning until Brady stumbled across this gem in his stocking. |
| Santa left one more surprise in the basement... He converted Brady's water table into a corn bin! |
| Definitely Brady's favorite toy |
| Nathan gives a little love to his bouncy cow. What a sweetheart this kid is. |
| Christmas dinner |
| Nathan matched Pete's enthusiasm for dinner |
| Merry Christmas 2013 |
| The day after Christmas Mom and Casey came for a visit. |
| They brought Nathan this fun tunnel. Who will emerge victorious? |
| This guy. |
| Those curls do crazy things after a nap |
| Puzzling with Aunt Casey |
| Uncle Mark even made the trip up |
| And on Saturday, Dad, Lyla, Dustin, and Daniel came in to celebrate. |
| How did I get stuck on assembly duty? |
| Worn out and happy |
| So so happy |
| It's impossible not to get a blurry picture when Allie and the boys have a play date |
| This toy wasn't meant for this big boy |
| Speaking of squeezing big things into small spaces... |
| This thing's a two-seater, right? |
