Lancaster

We took a mini-vacation to Lancaster last weekend for some big-time kiddie fun.  On Friday we spent the day at Dutch Wonderland, an amusement park for the under 10 crowd.  There were a ton of rides and lines were short, so a great time was had by all!

Train ride around the park

Brady's first carnival game

He won! OK, so they were all winners...

This ride was the boys' favorite

Feeding the ducks

Nathan sat the "Wonder Whip" out. Seemed a little wild for him this time.

They even had a splash park

Cool Nathan

Happy Nathan
Sad Nathan. He absolutely did not like the hotel room. He was fine in the halls, lobby, everywhere else, but once we went across the threshold into our room he was a mess. Evidently a bad vibe there.

Brady, on the other hand, made himself right at home.

Nathan did a great job kicking in the hotel pool

And you KNOW Brady loved it

On day two we headed out into the Amish countryside to the Strasburg Railroad.  Thomas was making an appearance, and you know we wouldn't want to miss that!

"Daddy, is that our train?"

My favorite

This is Nathan's classic "if I look down and don't make eye contact, the stranger will go away" face.

Having some fun with the band

What kind of Thomas event would it be without train tables?

Here's a little comparison of our 2013/2014 Thomas excursions :)
