The big dig

All four of us went to Brady's last week of soccer.

Nathan decided he might be more interested in baseball (although he is built for football).

This shot captures the essence of Brady's athleticism.

But he had fun, and that's all that counts, right?!

Our landscaping is approaching 20 years old, so much of it is overgrown and a lot of it died over this past winter.  We've spent the last few months researching and interviewing landscape companies, looking at designs and our budget, and finally deciding that we can do it ourselves for a fraction of the cost.  Well, that remains to be seen, but here we go!  It will likely be Christmas before we get it all done, but at least that means a few less bushes to string lights on this year.

Thank goodness the excavator was on the scene for azalea removal.

All lined up (even the spade)

When you can't reach the sink, you must improvise.

Whitest teeth of any baby I know.

Suzy, Chris, Pete, and I hosted a belated wedding celebration for Kim-marie and Ebi. Here's the three matching tough guys after the party.

Speaking of tough guys...
